So summer is amongst us. Are you ready? Yeah, me neither. So what are we to do? Ugh, get on a plan and lose some inches.
Losing weight is one of the hardest things you will do or try to do. What’s the key? Persistence and the will-to-win are the keys to success in many things and it’s just the same when trying to lose weight. A few simple lifestyle adjustments and the ability to think outside your box will give you the start to a successful life change! Lots of well-meaning folk are searching for the cure-all and indulge in fad diets, weight loss pills and yo yo diet plans. The best way to lose weight is to follow the basic principles and do it the natural way and changing what you put into your body.
So where do we start? How about breakfast.. Eat it! Your most important and biggest meal of the day needs to be at the beginning of the day. Worried about if you start the day eating then you’ll be hungry all day? Yeah me too. So what I do is implement AloeControl in my diet. 30 minutes before I eat, I take 2 ounces of AloeControl then eat my breakfast. Self.com has some great meal ideas for those of us who are quick to reach for a bagel and coffee and call it a day. Try portioning your food (read the labels and measure it out!) I like this suggestion:
Breakfast: 2 oz Aloe Control, 3 scrambled egg whites, 1 oz reduced fat jalapeƱo jack cheese, small whole wheat tortilla and your favorite hot sauce.
Lunch: Chopped cher’s salad: Salad mix (romaine & spinach) cucumbers, tomato slices, 2 egg whites, 3 oz turkey, 1 oz reduced fat cheese, 2 tsp olive oil/vinegar.
Dinner: 2 oz of Aloe Control 30 minutes before dinner (while your cooking) 4 oz of boneless, skinless steamed chicken breast, steamed asparagus (olive oil & pepper to flavor), mixed green salad with 1 tbsp of vinaigrette.
SO what is the point of all this? Easy, its time to cut out all the ready to eat meals as well as carbs such as chips, biscuits, pastries, breads, excess sugar, unsaturated fats and processed foods!. Ditching these will be a real help and is surely the best way to drop a few pounds. What’s the easiest way to do this? Bust out your cooking books, forget about convenience foods, and start to make your own dishes. Many nourishing dishes take very little longer to make than some oven-ready meals. Get into the habit of using quality carbohydrates, lean meats and fresh vegetables and you will suddenly feel a whole lot better. The best advice I can give is to get the AloeControl as a kick start to your dieting & eating habits and prep all your lunches for the week on Sunday night. Then you have no excuse!
Don’t forget to drink lots of water. Bloating is one of the worst thing to do when you are trying to lose weight. It messes with your head! Don’t forget to keep your body moving. Try walking to shops instead of driving, take a walk with your family after dinner, join a keep fit class will all burn fat. Joining a gym is not an option or doesn’t interest you, ok think outside the box. Find some activity that you really like such as dancing, aerobics, swimming, walking, cycling or gardening which ensures you are active everyday.
